RINNCHAN`S STYLE WOK NOODLES

Wok Noodles
One good reason for me to drop by at Carrefour SJ is because of this Wok Noodles. I could intentionally go to have one hot bowl of this, then came back home just like that. It`s been a while since I last hang out there and when recently I went again, the foodstaller at the food court was not there anymore !!! Hu hu hu...We finally just made do with hot plates and sizzling mee from other foodstall..
Yesterday, I saw this Mee Teow at a nearby mini market and straight away I thought of making this wok noodles. Without knowing the exact recipe to follow, I`ve actually tried this noodles a couple of time but using mee sanggul. One typical thing about this wok noodles is, it is cooked and served in a same bowl-like claypot. When it comes to you, the gravy is still boiling as if it is still on heat...Well, I can`t do the same at home. Just make do with our normal wok and serve on plain bowls....
This is how I cooked it..and again this is just an estimation based on my tounge experience.

RINNCHAN`S STYLE WOK NOODLES
Bahan-bahan:
200gm Mee Teow (Boleh guna mee sanggul juga), direndam dgn air panas
12pcs cendawan kering, dibersihkan dan direndam dlm semangkuk air
300gm ayam, dipotong kecil
4 ulas bawang putih, diketuk
5 sudu besar kicap
2 sudu besar sos tiram
1/2 camca teh lada putih
1/2 camca teh lada hitam
2 camca teh garam
1 sudu besar gula
3 sudu besar tepung jagung, dibancuh dgn 1 mangkuk air
Air secukupnya
2 biji telur

Cara-cara:
1. Panaskan kuali dan tumis bwg putih dgn sedikit minyak.
2. Masukkan lada putih dan lada hitam.
3. Masukkan ayam. Kacau sehingga ayam agak masak.
4. Masukkan kicap dan sos tiram. Masukkan cendawan bersama-sama air
rendamannya sekali. Kuatkan api dan biarkan kuah menggelegak. Tambahkan air
dan biar sehingga ayam dan cendawan lembut.
5. Masukkan air bancuhan tepung jagung dan kacau hingga agak likat. Masukkan
garam dan gula.
6. Masukkan mee teow dan kacau rata. Boleh tambah air jika perlu.
7. Akhir sekali, pecahkan telur tetapi jangan terlalu di kacau. Hidangan siap bila telur
sudah mula mengeras sedikit. Hidangkan.

Actually this serving is more tasty if the chicken is cooked for longer time to make it tenderer. And the mushroom, I guess it is the key ingredient of all. Without it, you won`t get the taste. Perhaps there`re some other ingredients or herbs that is essential but I can`t make any further blind guess. The way I do is already close to the taste I want. Ok, go get your chopsticks and spoon..and let`s enjoy the noodles...not in a claypot anyway..

31.Ida : Iye ke..tapi resipi campak2 tu yg sebenarnya sedap. Kalau resipi mee atau lauk-pauk ok..boleh bubuh apa saja yg sesuai. Tapi kalau kek, biskut atau lain2 bakings..diorang kat jgn derhaka dengan resipi nanti tak jadik!!!!
