LAYER TRIFLE & RICH CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Peach Jelly Layer
Strawberry Rolls layer
A piece of layer trifle
I actually wanted to make a basic trifle with only layers of swiss rolls, custards, whipping cream(lots of whipping cream.....) and cocktails. However this is what happened instead...Let the picture speaks for itself.


Top layer : Peach jelly
2nd layer : Custard pudding
3rd layer : Chocolate Swiss Roll
4th layer : Rich Chocolate Pudding
Bottom Layer : Strawberry Swiss Roll


We normally place the swiss rolls at the bottom of the bowl but being "too smart"..I just thought maybe I should do it the other way around so that I could take the whole trifle out and cut it. In order to do that I have to harden the peach jelly layer, the rich choc pudding layer and the custard layer.
People don`t normally cut trifle right??!! ..We are supposed to layer soft desserts and scoop it using spoon or spatula and eat. Heh heh heh...fine then. On the other hand, I don`t have nice glasses with stand to pour in the triffle..... so that it`ll look something like this (Image from the internet).



I don`t know what exactly to call this thing but it has actually amazed everybody in the house.
" Apa tu mak...banyaknya lapis diaaaa...."
A multi-layer of sweet, sour, bittersweet and creamy desserts it has become !!!


This is merely an experiment of mine, once in a while having fun stacking layers of desserts. All layers are the usual desserts except for the Rich Chocolate Pudding. I came accross it at myresipi.com posted by junjs11. This pudding is something different because of its texture and taste which is not milky nor taste like jelly. At one sight you may see it as tempered chocolate but it`s not hard. Thanx junjs11 for this nice dessert recipe.. . It`s bittersweet and I just love it and so do the kidz....

RICH CHOCOLATE PUDDING
Bahan-bahan:
1/2 cawan serbuk koko
1 cawan gula
1/2 cawan susu tepung
1/2 sudu teh garam
4 1/4 cawan air
4 sudu besar tepung jagung
1/2 sudu teh esen vanilla
3 sudu besar butter
1 paket serbuk agar2 (Tanpa perisa)

Cara-cara:
1. Campurkan semua bahan kecuali butter dan kacau selalu hingga mendidih.
2. Masukkan butter, kacau hingga pekat.
3. Angkat dan masukkan kedalam loyang atau acuan yg disukai.
* Rinn gunakan lebihan strawberry swiss roll sbg bottom layernya....

6.cek-de-sam : Lapis2 tu bukannya susah poonnn..benda2 biasa aje...Kalau nak cuba yg simple, guna swiss rolls sebagai base nya, then cari mana2 puding resipi (apa-apa) pun boleh then tuangkan aje kat atasnya. Bila dah sejuk dan keras puding..potong aje dan makan... Buat 2 lapis dah lah sbg permulaan...
