VANILLA CUPCAKES

KungPao Fillet "O" Fish
This time I`d like to share two recipes which were once very popular on the net. One is the Vanilla cupcakes of Resipidiana and the other is the Kung Pao Fillet "O" Fish which was inspired by the original recipe KungPao Chicken of allrecipe.com. I didn`t "Watchaaaaaa...." with chicken coz I used fish fillet instead.



VANILLA CUPCAKES
Bahan-bahan:
250gm mentega
180gm gula caster
4 biji telur
185gm tepung naik sendiri
60gm tepung gandum
185gm susu segar

Cara-cara:
1. Ayak kedua-dua tepung. Ketepikan.
2. Pukul butter dan gula sampai gebu.
3. Masukkan telur satu persatu.
4. Campurkan tepung dan susu secara berselang-seli.
5. Tuang adunan ke dalam acuan cupcakes dan bakar pada suhu 180 darj celsius.

I have tried a few recipes on plain vanilla cupcakes but I must admit that this one is the most delicious one so far. Especially the color, the texture and the taste, is really up to my standard..Ahaaaaak, rinnchan pun ada standard sendiri???? . I believe it is also suitable to be frosted.
Still using the same mixture, later I transformed it to marble cupcakes. As usual, just divide the mixture into two equal amount of quantity then add cocoa powder into one portion and the other leave it uncolored. Pour batter into papercups layer by layer then bake.



Moving on to the next recipe, it is the KungPao Fillet "O" Fish. I used the huge Ikan Merah which my dear hubby caught during his fishing trip the other day. Half I made soup and the other half I carefully sliced out the fillet and cut them into cubes to deep fry them.



KUNG PAO FILLET "O" FISH
Bahan-bahan:
Isi ikan merah dipotong kiub memanjang, digaul bersama garam, lada putih dan tepung jagung. Then, deep fry sampai garing.

1 bawang besar, dimayang
3 bawang putih, diketuk
2 inci halia, diketuk
1 sudu besar cili kisar atau serbuk cili
Air asam jawa secukupnya
10 tangkai cili kering, direndam
2 sudu besar sos tiram
5 sudu besar sos cili
5 sudu besar sos tomato
2 camca teh sos Lea Perrin & Wocestershire
Garam dan gula secukup rasa
Nenas, dipotong kiub
timun, dibuang empulur & dipotong kiub
Buah tomato, dipotong kiub
Kacang tanah goreng (Sebagai menggantikan kacang gajus)

Cara-cara:
1. Tumiskan semua bawang sampai layu. Masukkan cili kisar dan air asam jawa. Tumis sampai naik minyak.
2. Masukkan semua sos dan tumis sehingga kuah likat. Boleh tambah sedikit air.
3. Perasakan dengan garam dan gula.
4. Masukkan isi ikan yg telah digorang garing tadi.
5. Akhir sekali masukkan nenas, timun, buah tomato dan kacang tanah.



This menu was a real smash !! My MIL, SIL & the familly came over for a relaxing get-together yesterday and co-icidently it was almost noon that I decided to give them a lunch treat. There came the idea to make this KungPao Fish and I cooked it a bit hot with extra chillies, plus some other dishes. Since my niece and nephews are all still small I made Sup Ikan Merah as well. Unexpectedly, these little boys/girl and my kids too enjoyed the KungPao fish more than the soup!!! ....The In-House Chef aka Me..normally don`t straight away eat after cooking..when the time came.. huhuhuhuhuhu..they left me empty plate of no-more-KungPao Fish.. Tak pe...I had tasted a few pieces immediately after I finished cooking it. But deep inside I was really glad that everybody enjoyed my cooking

9.ilda : Memang saja kakrinn bubuh adunan tu penuh biar dia naik tinggi dan montel bila dah masak. Sebab kakrinn tak gemar nak bubuh frosting..Utk makan sendiri jer anak-beranak. Utk berbiznez.. dak kuuuutttt...
10.Sabrina : Sab selalu buat kakrinn rasa bersalah sbb bagi Sab terliur setiap kali menjengah ke dapur kakrinn ni. Kakrinn harap cepatlah Sab dpt oven baru..biar Sab pulak boleh buat kakrinn terliur dgn hidangan Sab. Kung Pao fish tuuu...tak per..nanti boleh buat lagi lain kali..
11.fazizaid : Alamak Kak Fazi..u don`t hv to say that laa. Jauh panggang dari api utk rinn dipanggil chef/cook..ambik gambar tu pun..Semuanya utk keseronokan dan kepuasan sendiri. Kalau orang lain suka, rinn gembira. Kalau tak suka..rinn terima sebagai kritikan membina..Thnx kak fazi ye
12.mummy jam : Rinn mmg suka dgn bau harum daun ketumbar tapi tak terfikir pulak nak letak dlm resipi ni. Lagipun di pasar kat rumah ni kekadang ada..kekadang tak ade..

16.Maklang : Masa tengah popular dulu rinn tengok gitu2 aje resipinya..rasanya tak der bubuh sos Lea Perrins tuu. Rinn saja2 tambah..tapi mmg rasanya ala-ala sweet sour gituu...
17.Cak : Kebanyakan resipi yg kakrinn cuba dan paparkan di sini adalah antara yg termudah dan tak guna bahan yg susah. Sebab kakrinn tahu selalunya bila orang cari resipi mesti seboleh2nya nakkan yg simple in making but nice in taste..ye dak??/...So, cupcake marble tu taklah susah mana..Cak cubalah ye...Tak fail lah !!!!
18.zana/ros : Alahaaaaaaii...kalau sedap dan nak mkn, masak ajelah zana ooiii..Makan sorang2 pun tak pe...Kalau tunggu semua org nak suka syusyah lah kita nak masak..
19.WanZee : Rinn suka resipi yg mudah2..sbb senang juga orang lain nak cuba. Yg remeh-temeh tu sesekali boleh gak cuba juga...
