MICROWAVE STEAMED FISH (IKAN KEMBUNG) AND SAWI SOUP

Steamed Ikan Kembung
Sawi Soup


MICROWAVE STEAMED FISH (IKANKEMBUNG)

Ingredients
4 Ikan kembung
A little asam jawa
2 tblespn soy sauce
1/2 tespn sesame oil
1 tblspn osyter sauce
1 tespn blackpepper
1 teaspn salt
1 teaspn sugar
1 tblspn chillie sauce
3 garlics
2 inches ginger

Instruction
1. Clean and wash the ikan kembung. Coat with asam jawa and put aside.
2. Slice ginger and garlics into long small pieces.
3. In a large bowl mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, chillie sauce, salt, sugar and black pepper.
4. Rinse and lay fish in casserole and pour the mixture over the fish. Sprinkle some celleries, spring onions and sliced carrots. Marinate in casserole for 10 minutes.
5. Microwave on medium power for 3 minutes. Squeeze some kasturi lemon juice immediately after taking the fish out of the oven. Serve warm.




SAWI SOUP

Ingredients
Sawi
fishballs
fish cake, cut
2 shallots, sliced thinly
2 garlic, smashed
Salt and pepper to taste

Intsruction

1. Cut sawi into desired size preferably not to small and seperate between the stalks and leaves.
2. Stir fry shallots and garlics, add pepper and continue frying till withered.
3. Add fishballs and fishcakes. Add the stalks and further fry. Once softened add the leaves and continue frying.
4. When the gravy have fully coated the ingredients, pour 3/4 bowl of water. Bring to simmer.
5. Add salt to taste.
